Cheyenne Soccer Club's 4U Soccer Program in Cheyenne, WY
Cheyenne Soccer Club's STINGERS program is specifically designed to introduce your player to the beautiful game by using age appropriate activities in Cheyenne, WY. In order to create a passion for soccer, even at the earliest ages, we don't have specific teams for our U4's, and we don't play actual games. (You can imagine what it looks like trying to share one ball!). All players show up for the session and are separated into smaller groups. We have several "Soccer Stations" set up, each with a different coach. Each group of players will play a fun "soccer-centric" activity for 10-15 minutes, then they will rotate to another activity. We have music playing, and really make it fun for these little ones!
Our 4U program consists of 1 session per week, and is on Friday evenings. The sessions will run from 5:30pm-6:30pm at North Park Soccer fields in Cheyenne, WY closest to the playground. The season will be the same as our youth recreational league which consist of 8 weeks in the fall and 8 weeks in the spring (some during the week in the spring). Please dress your player comfortably. Shin guards and cleats aren't mandatory as there isn't much contact between the players. Some players show up in full soccer gear, and others show up in their pajama pants and shoes! That's the beauty of our STINGERS... they are there to just play and have fun!
If possible, please bring a soccer ball (size 3). Also, because of their age, snacks and drinks are a must!
We will be asking for plenty of help from the parents, it is great to see how excited the kids get when their family gets involved!
